LAURA O'SHEA

Mentorship

Workshops & One-to-One Sessions
Over the years, Laura has spent a lot of time speaking to up-and-coming filmmakers about her journey through the industry. She is an advocate for the 'Do It Yourself' approach to filmmaking, encouraging first-time short filmmakers to get out there and learn by doing.

She has guest lectured at Trinity College, Pulse College and she regularly runs a 'How to Make a Short Film' workshop in association with Bow Street Academy in Dublin. This is 2-day intensive course on making low-budget short films,  discussing all aspects of the process from script to screen. Info on the course and when it's next running can be found on the Bow Street website here.

Laura is also available for One-to-One sessions with filmmakers who are seeking advice on their Short Film. She offers a variety of rates to suit the filmmakers needs and sessions have the option of being in person or online.

If you'd like to get in touch with Laura for feedback on your short film script, or for general filmmaking advice, you can contact her here.
