Winner of 'Best Music Video'2/10/2022 I am so thrilled to share that the music video I directed and produced for 'Free to Fall' by Emma Langford has won the award for 'Best Music Video' at Disappear Here Film Festival in Ballyliffin, Donegal. A massive thank you to the festival and all involved! 'Free to Fall' from the album Sowing Acorns by Emma Langford Directed & Produced by Laura O' Shea Shot by Alba Fernandez 1AC Danilo Zambrano Edited & Coloured by Philip Shanahan Wednesday's Child Review3/8/2022 "What O’Shea does here is paint a situation and a theme that is wholly understandable and relatable. “Wednesday’s Child” is a painting of broad strokes. It not only show’s that O’Shea feels confident behind the camera, but that, once again, she excels at perfecting the heart and soul of her subjects." I had an absolute blast shooting spec commercials over the past few days with some of my closest friends and loved ones. A huge thanks to those who pitched in and gave me their time in the middle of a heatwave. I appreciate all of you!
More thanks to the lovely folk at Rascals Brewery for donating us a heap of beer and pizza and to the wonderful staff at Parklife Cafe in Crumlin for allowing us invade their space and use all their coffee for the day. A final special shout out to Shane Serrano at Crude Media for doing an out of this world job at shooting these for me. He's truly one the best in the biz. I can't wait to share the final specs with you all. Wednesday's Child is now officially under Oscar consideration! A massive thank you to our producers Caroline Harvey & Charleigh Baileigh, the beautiful cast and hard working crew we had on board! Thank you to the Galway Film Fleadh team for having us and for this huge honour. Director: Laura O' Shea
